Fighting for Your Liberties

I am not a professional politician or a lawyer. I am just an ordinary South Dakotan who wants to make our state and country better for everyone. As your senator I would be devoted to representing You and not a party. I am committed to:

--Holding government accountable to the people and the Constitution, not to one person or party.

--Working to protect you from Government intrusion into your private healthcare decisions.

--Making the tax code fair and equitable, ending loopholes for the the wealthy and big corporations who take advantage of these leaving small business and ordinary citizens carrying the weight.

--Making agriculture fair for the family farmer and limiting the power of big corporations that force farmers into limited options for seed acquisitions and equipment repairs.

--Limiting the buy-up of farm land by billionaires and foreign interests which drives up the price of land unreasonably and drives down the prices of commodities for farmers

--Addressing the legitimate concerns of the Sovereign Nations who have lived here in South Dakota for thousands of years before our nation was formed.

NATIONS: The federal government has been

neglecting its responsibility and commitments

Throughout my life I have seen a sharp decline in the integrity of our government. The two major parties have become more and more extreme. Name-calling, incivility, and even violence have crept in. I am disgusted, as I am sure you are, with partisan politics and would like to see government work for us, the people. Instead we see recent administrations taking away our liberties and intruding government into our most private affairs. Big Corporations get tax breaks and subsidies while ordinary people and small businesses struggle to get by. This must change.

people but nearly nonexistent for others. Too many of our

private health decisions are being made by people other than the doctor and the patient. Government and insurance companies don't belong in the exam
